KSB Partnership Has a Name

Sauk Valley Community College unveiled the KSB donor recognition plaques on Wednesday, April 24. The plaques signify the partnership KSB has made with SVCC for the Sauk Nursing Department.

The KSB Board of Directors held a routine closed meeting on campus before receiving a tour of the facilities ending with the official unveiling of the partnership. In honor of KSB and in grateful recognition of their generosity, SVCC officially presented the KSB Classroom, KSB Moderate Fidelity Lab, KSB High Fidelity Lab, and KSB Debriefing Room to members of the KSB Board of Directors. The area, located on the second floor of the SVCC campus is the epicenter for Sauk’s health profession students. The gift will help support Nursing program initiatives at SVCC for the next ten years

Dean of Institutional Advancement, Dr. Lori Cortez, stated “The partnership between KSB and SVCC demonstrates a shared vision of goals and future success. The partnership also represents a shared commitment to providing exceptional healthcare opportunities for the region through the development of highly skilled providers and top-notch healthcare services.”

KSB has a strong and valued history of service to the community and SVCC is proud to count many of their graduates among the caring and talented staff at KSB.
